Job Description
- Preparation of the UK & DACH countries forecast and budget with the operational teams. Recipient of Sales and direct costs from the Business Partner for Commercial.
- Produce materials for monthly reviews, follow ups and approvals of actuals for same focus groups, providing commentary to managers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our financial processes and use of our SAP system
- Manage and coordinate Cash management activities of the UK & DACH entities.
- Prepares and reviews month end P&L on a timely and provides adequate commentary on variances.
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliation of the region entities. Ensures that adequate documentation is maintained and loaded for all transactions / JEs.
- Prepares and uploads month end Journals related to payrolls, freight, BD, warranty, bonus, and other expense accruals, review process for those that sit with other members of the finance team.
- Review of overall expense with scrutiny of month-end accruals required. With support from wider finance team.
- Review the A/P invoices approval, ensuring vendor invoices have been properly approved and recorded, A/P aging report has been reviewed for payments, any open bill issues have been resolved.
- Review and be comfortable over intercompany GL reconciliations for UK & DACH
- Local Statutory fillings, VAT returns and intrastate preparation as well as other tax declarations such as CIT. Ensuring collaborations with both internal and external service providers.
- Fixed Assets monitoring and depreciation runs.
- Business partner with operations and customer service.
- Primary point of contact for external and tax consultants. Assist with financial and tax audits when required.
