SalaryThis is the perfect role for a seasoned SME Financial Controller who is used to being number 1 in Finance and the main 'go to' person, the sole advisor to the MD and a true all-rounder.
The business is well-known, with a great reputation and you'll be able to get stuck into absolutely everything accounts. The MD is keen to grow the business further, his plans are ambitious yet realistic and with his finance background to support, he is looking to work in close collaboration with his new Financial Controller in achieving this.
This is a role that you can completely make your own, put your stamp on and make changes as you see fit. The existing and small finance team is very capable and will be a great support - they're keen to learn new ways of working and open to fresh and innovative ideas too!
You'll have to be confident in managing all aspects of month end, production of management accounts, budgeting, VAT, cash flow, communicating with external accountants and all other non-finance staff and have a 'hands-on' attitude.
