Financial Controller - £45,000 - £50,000pa

Office based, 40 hour week - Greenford, NW London

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience gained in Construction / Construction related industries with a T/O between £15-20m

Overall Purpose of Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business experiencing exceptional growth with a great people culture and a highly engaged leadership team .

You will be responsible for providing support to the COO in providing accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders for decision-making purposes and assist with the smooth running of the Accounts Team.

Core responsibilities

• Manage day to day financial operations of 2 companies.
• Assist with development and roll out of processes and best practice across the Accounts
• Key point of contact for payroll and Accounts queries.
• Line management of those within the Accounts and Payroll Team.
• Processing of various VAT/CIS/PAYE returns.
• Monthly review/production of management accounts for reporting to COO.
• Budgets and forecasts to be produced alongside COO.
• Other adhoc requests and reporting as required.
• This role will report to the COO.

Experience

• Ideally 5 years experience in a financial role, ideally 2 of gained in the construction sector
• Proven track record of producing concise Management information
• Experience of Financial reporting within an organisation with a turnover of £10-£15million.
• Cash Management and Forecasting experience is essential.Strong Systems experience and Excel skills.
