Description
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner to the Area Director, Plant Director, and Commercial Directors, covering countries where the business operates in the region.
- Proactively drive and streamline financial processes, fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing insights to the Area Director and Group CFO.
- Ensure timely and accurate area closing activities on a monthly and annual basis, including in-depth analysis.
- Drive and deliver budget and forecast processes for the area on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Monitor and support the Area Director in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Deliver thorough analysis on product mix, income, customers, profitability, and sales performance.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and support Commercial Directors in policy implementation.
- Uphold standard rules and procedures defined by the Group (IFRS).
- Lead the local IT Team in collaboration with Group IT.
- Oversee financial accounting, tax, external audits, and authorities' interactions.
- Foster financial awareness across the area.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, management, or related field.
- Background in finance management and audit.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Proven experience in managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and BI tools.
- Previous experience leading small teams.
