Financial Controller - Vc Backed Software

Investigo are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a VC backed Software company in their search for a Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of the financial strategy of the business. Working alongside our small but agile finance, insight and technology teams, whilst supporting the CFO and Founder with day to day decision making.

The role:

? Management of monthly management accounts, including the various supporting reconciliation schedules, profit and loss, cashflow, revenue and costs (by cost centre) and balance sheet
? Preparation of Financial Statements and the calculation of tax returns
? Business analysis and reporting to support departments and leadership with strategic and operational decision making.
? Leading and implementing process change to ensure the business operates with efficiency and financial effectiveness.
? Leading and owning the reporting processes including budgeting, forecasts and trend analysis.
? Managing the development and building of the finance team including assistant accountant
? Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the finance department.
? Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
? Shared responsibility to deliver KPI and reporting packs with our head of data and strategy

Requirements:

? ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA qualified
? Proven experience in a senior financial management role.
? In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent communication, both written and verbal able to inform and influence across all levels of the business.
