Department

Global Sales and Customer Service is comprised of over 1,000 sales and customer service professionals serving customers across banking, insurance, asset management, corporate, professional services and government sectors across over 50 countries. The Global Industry Practice Group is comprised of practitioners, former regulators and subject matter experts, specializing in domains such as Financial Crime Compliance, third-party due diligence, generative AI and supply chain resiliency.

Job Description

The Industry Practice Lead is responsible for advising existing and prospective customers across the Financial Services industry on critical Financial Crime, know-your-customer and third-party/supplier due diligence best practices. The Industry Practice Lead will work with relationship managers and domain sales specialists to address customers’ use cases and facilitate solution architecture leveraging Moody’s Analytics compliance solution suite of technology, data and artificial intelligence.

Specifically, there are four areas of activities which will be engaged

  • Driving sales and customer engagement: design market outreach strategy (with sales, marketing and product management teams); serve as a trusted advisor to customers; proactively work with prospective clients through the sales process, providing technical assistance and guidance as required; use industry best practice to elevate the impact of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Proof of Concept (POC) processes in the sales cycle
  • Industry engagement & thought leadership: develop and maintain industry stakeholder relationships; speak at industry events; publish thought leadership; maintain social media engagement.
  • Market feedback for product development: translate emerging market themes and regulatory requirements into product requirements to future proof our solutions; identify valuable white space; build business case for product development and improvement.
  • Internal education: conduct training sessions on customer use cases, our solution set and emerging trends; serve as an informal coach and expert to product consultants, sales professionals and customer success teams.

Geographic territory: UK & Europe

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable sense of Financial Crime technology best practices in the Banking and Insurance sector
  • Experience in designing, deploying or implementing AI/ML solutions is desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of KYC/AML & Sanctions regulatory context
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance practice, or consultancy/solutions sales within the compliance space
  • Ability to interact with Senior level stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Travel within region required.
