In this role, you'll join a new team & play an important part of the CCB Financial Crime Execution team, being responsible for managing Financial Crime risk in their region / sector for CCB clients requiring new or additional services (client due diligence) and during their relationship with the bank (ongoing due diligence).
You'll have an opportunity to demonstrate great communication & influencing skills working with the Relationship teams and FC CoE to support the development of the Financial Crime risk capability of all team members. This role reports to the Financial Crime Lead.
The difference you’ll make.
- Managing the coordinated and timely approach to Event Driven Reviews as triggered or Periodic Reviews when due -– acts as the liaison between front office, clients and FC CoE, ensuring best-in-class client experience and strong risk management
- Delivering best-in-class NTB client experience onboarding journeys and are the conduit between relationship teams, clients and FC CoE, managing service and risk
- Reporting mechanism and visibility of FC Risk within the region and that any queries in relation to control alerts or ongoing due diligence reviews are dealt with in a timely manner
- Providing constructive support within the Regional or Sector team in terms of Financial Crime knowledge and the ability to produce high quality Financial Crime CDD/ODD submissions
- Ensuring submissions, and analysis of client due diligence, is of a high quality, accurate, consistent and policy compliant
- Analysing and monitoring the Financial Crime risk metrics of the regional portfolio in order to maintain an overview of the risk profile of the book
What you’ll bring.
- Experience in communication & influencing – ability to ensure a clear and consistent message is cascaded to stakeholders and across all service users
- Experience in Service Delivery with strong collaboration skills, ability to work effectively across the CCB, FC CoE and risk teams, ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Experience working within a Corporate and Commercial Banking environment, ideally in a Financial Crime analysis role or have good understanding of AML & FC CDD/ODD process in a bank
- Proven experience of working in a servicing, customer-driven environment, monitoring service levels of an operational area
- Previous experience of successfully creating and developing relationships
