Our Financial Crime Risk Team is responsible for Responsible for supporting the development of the EMEA framework (policies, procedures, standards, target operating model), implementation of the framework enhancements and oversight of the day-to-day effectiveness of Financial Crime Risk operational procedures across our organisation.

What role will you play?
As a key member of our Financial Crime Risk Team, you will work closely with the regional leadership team to deliver to a range of initiatives, including Financial Crime Risk Regulatory Change.
You will also focus on assessment and impact analysis of regulatory change for the UK and broader EU & support Money Laundering Risk Officer in region on assessment of local regulatory change and impact to the risk programme.
What you offer
- To thrive in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years working for a financial services institution, or a law firm or consultancy servicing the financial services industry. Alongside:
- Knowledge of local regulations, legislation and best practice and internal best practice.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products in institutional banking and trading
- Proactive in approach to stakeholder engagement and management, uses initiative to meet with stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, Financial Crime Risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and Governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
