Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.

The Financial Inclusion Team at Newlon provides vital support to residents to enable them to achieve financial independence. We have an opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team and provide advice, guidance and information to residents to allow them to maintain stable long-term tenancies. You will use a variety of methods to address immediate crisis’, remove barriers to financial resilience and ensure the best possible financial outcome, supporting the longer-term needs of the resident and their family.

With proven experience providing debt and welfare benefit advice and guidance, and working directly with members of the public, you will have a clear understanding of how poor mental health can impact on person’s ability to sustain their finances, and an understanding of how you can adapt the service you offer to meet the diverse needs of customers. First class communication and customer service skills are a must, along with an understanding of statutory and voluntary support and how to access it.

In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits, and a flexi scheme.  You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
