Salary GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 (depending on experience)
Our client - a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business based in Leicester - is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its' team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Group Financial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
. Production of management accounts,
. Supervision of a small team,
. Control account reconciliations,
. Balance Sheet reconciliations
. Accruals & prepayments,
. Inventory controls,
. Managing fixed assets register,
. General ledger, incl. journal preparation & posting,
. VAT returns,
. Assist with completion of month-end, ad-hoc weekly / monthly reporting,
The Right Person
. Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
. Ideally with experience of imports & exports,
. German accounting experience an advantage
. Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
. Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
. Able to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team within a large organisation,
. Excellent planning, organisation skills and adherence to tight deadline,
. Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models), Sage, Xero and, MS Dynamics 365 (ERP).
