Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Financial Planning Analyst
As an FP&A Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategies and driving informed decision-making across the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, leveraging industry trends and operational data to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
Budgeting & Reporting: Collaborate cross-functionally to create annual budgets aligned with strategic objectives. Produce insightful reports and analyses to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and performance reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Decision Support: Partner with leadership to evaluate potential investments, assess financial risks, and provide strategic guidance on key initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and contribute to the development of best practices in Financial Planning and Analysis.
The Successful Applicant
Requirement for the role:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience in financial analysis or FP&A
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
