Financial Reporting Accountant

Fin Search are recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant on a permanent basis for a privately owned technology business based in Leeds.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

This is a newly created role due to continued strong performance and growth of the business. This is a brilliant opportunity for a first time mover from practice looking for a first role in industry in a fast paced business with a clear progression and career route.

As Financial Reporting Accountant, this role will report to an ACA qualified working as part of the Financial Reporting team, responsible for ensuring all statutory and non statutory deadlines are met.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, creation and presentation of financial information for the annual report, supporting technical accounting, preparation of quarterly reporting, group consolidation and the annual external audit. This role will also take a lead on overseas entity reporting liaising with local teams, and auditors in multiple countries where the business has a statutory requirement.

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified
• Have a background in audit
• Have excellent analytical skills
• Have strong stakeholder management skills

£50,000 - £55,000 + 15% performance related bonus + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and increasing with service + private medical insurance + life assurance + contributory pension + retail discounts + onsite parking + hybrid working model
