Marks Sattin are delighted to recruiting a Group Financial Reporting Manager for a Leeds based financial services organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support the team with technical expertise relating to transaction and project-based accounting
- Assistance with the management, coordination and preparation of Group Statutory Financial Statements
- Preparation of Group Audit Committee management papers to support key judgements within the financial statements
- Coordination of the Group and local year-end statutory audits, Group half year interim review and preparation of associated audit schedules
- Preparation of Quarterly Financial Information for external reporting to Investors
- Co-ordination, timetabling and management of Group external reporting requirements on a quarterly basis
- Assistance with quarterly reporting to private equity investors working closely with Investor Relations
- Ad hoc analysis as required to support specific strategic projects and transactions
- Support the Investor Relations team with KPI data and insights to assist quarterly reporting and other activities
- Facilitate continuous improvement in the Finance function's control environment including the monitoring of the controls testing and required improvements
- Implement improvements of finance processes and reporting
This opportunity is ideally suited to an ACA qualified (or equivalent) Accountant with strong technical skills, including detailed knowledge of IFRS9.
