New Role / Financial Reporting Accountant / 15 months / Speke / Hybrid Working
Accountable Recruitment are working with a large multinational organisation based in Speke for a Financial Reporting Accountant to assist with a 15 month temporary assignment. Although, the role is initially interim, there is a strong possibility that this position or something similar will be available on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing timely financial information on a monthly basis. This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work within a well organised financial accounts team, whilst still having a handle on the profit & loss.
Key day to day duties will include:
- Prepare and post recurring and standard manual journals including intercompany entries
- Prepare and post accruals
- interaction with cost center managers regarding: utility journals, insurance expense, and payroll corrections
- Perform reconciliations, including CAPEX, sales and Cost of Goods Sold
- Process allocations incl. payroll costs and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) elements based of monthly timesheets, wages & salaries accounting, share-based calculations & reconciliation
- Support preparation of entity budgets and forecasts including Profit & Loss, Balance sheet and cashflow statement.
- Prepare and load data from the budgeting & planning tool to the consolidation system for all legal entities.
- Analyse and report on variances between actuals, budget, and forecasts for balance sheets and cash flow.
- Prepare statutory report including Trade Creditors reporting, including commentary for operating cashflow preparation and calculation and entry of statutory adjustments.
- Process manual settlements in SAP
- Complete IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) adjustment calculations and share with Controlling & Reporting for review.
- Support for internal and external audit requests, including providing documentation of AP (Accounts Payable) invoices to auditors.
The Successful candidate will:
- Be ACCA/CIMA qualified or nearly qualified
- Have similar experience in a previous role
- Be available at short notice
