SalaryA global market leader at the forefront of technology are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team responsible for statutory reporting and audit requirements for the UK and European region. The role will also support the current finance transformation on process improvement and other ad hoc technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage statutory reporting for the Group, including drafting of the annual and interim statutory accounts
- Ownership of the Company’s Internal Control Processes
- Support on other ad hoc technical accounting projects
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports at the request of management
- Become key contact for both internal and external audit requirements Manage the monthly P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting process
- Contribute to the ongoing process of improving the quality of key information to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a robust financial control environment, ensuring that risks are adequately mitigated with appropriate controls and processes are constantly challenged.
- Lead the Audit reporting (discussing audit issues, ensuring full adherence to IFRS requirements) and preparing briefing papers on commercial and accounting issues
- Management and leadership of the Financial Reporting team
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ICAEW or ACCA)
- Ideally experience gained working for or with a multinational business, demonstrating strong technical skills and knowledge of operating across multiple currencies
- Strong technical proficiency in IFRS
- Strong statutory accounting & audit experience
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the company coupled with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working on your own initiative
