YOUR ROLE…
As F&S Service Engineer you will undertake the servicing and maintenance for our customers. You will take ownership of a problem and have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. Taking pride in your work, you will deliver the best service to our customers and exceed their expectations whenever possible.

Access Control | Intrusion Protection | Video Surveillance | Door Entry | Fire Detection | Audio Alarm Verification | Staff Protection | Public Address | Time & Attendance | LED Lighting
- Drive excellent customer service by working with the area supervisor and national Call Centre utilising our dedicated PDA management software. You will be expected to provide a professional and positive "can-do" approach to service calls and maintenance visits. Once established, the successful candidate will also have significant additional earning potential through our callout rota
- Attend and resolve daily service calls plus maintenance visits where required
- You will accountable for your vehicle and its stock once issued. It is your responsibility to ensure they are adequately maintained with any issues being escalated once identified
- Flexible working hours will be periodically required to meet client demand
- Ideally located approximately 30 minutes travel into your working area
- Perform Call Out Duty in accordance with published rota
- Carry out minor day-work tasks as required. Aid Installation technicians when required and assist other Service department personnel during their absence in order to achieve Company targets and objectives.
- Clean driving license
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge of Intruder systems: Texecom, Galaxy, Pacom & GE ranges
- Working knowledge of Access Control systems (PC based and standalone): Lenel, C-Cure, PAC, Genetec & Paxton
- Working knowledge of CCTV systems across analogue and IP platforms.
- Working knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems across Addressable and Conventional: Kentec, Advanced, Gent
- Preferred experience of the following will be advantageous: Milestone, Dahua, Hanwha, Genetec,
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Solid experience within the security industry
- Strong knowledge of the Security Systems industry and it's standards is essential
- Knowledge in Fire is ideal, but training can be provided
- Proven field service technical experience
- Proactive response to all situations; lone working and problem-solving ability.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to identify & refer potential sales leads (paid commission available)
- Good communications skills
- Good time management and planning skills
