Description
- Manage and coordinate the company's fleet to ensure optimum efficiency
- Liaise with drivers for dispatch and return of vehicles
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Monitor and manage fuel consumption and costs
- Resolve any logistical issues that may arise
- Assist in the training of new drivers
- Work collaboratively with other departments to meet company objectives
Profile
A successful 'Fleet Coordinator' should have:
- A qualification in Logistics or a related field
- Experience in managing a fleet in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills for liaising with drivers and other departments
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Offer
