This leading Foodservice business supply high quality food ingredients to the UK and Ireland foodservice channel to both wholesale & end user restaurant chains. Producing high quality produce as end products which has made them category captains within their space.
Description
- Manage a portfolio of existing & recognisable Foodservice customers across the national chain groups
- Drive and co-ordinate sales activity to maximise revenue with new and existing customers
- Agree, review and maintain customer contracts to ensure cover and compliance
- Collection and analysis of information and provision of conclusions from sales figures and account information
- Monitor, control and deliver the relevant budget as agreed with Commercial Controller
- Continually review product margins and maintain an overall awareness of sales developments in the sector
- Develop and enrich close contact with key personnel at every level throughout the customer base
- General Account Management- Pricing, Logistics, Complaints, Samples, Reporting etc
- Liaise with the Technical team to provide customer base with required information.
- Liaise with colleagues in other teams to ensure all cross sector opportunities are maximised
Profile
- Proven experience within Foodservice, managing a portfolio of end user customers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence at every level
- Ability to work on own initiative, meet deadlines and demonstrate high degrees of organisation
- Ability to present and analyse data
- Ability to set, maintain and monitor high standards whilst adopting a professional approach to recognising and exceeding customer expectation
- Understanding of needs and demands of Accounts and how to maximise opportunities
- Commercial Flair- seeing new opportunities utilising your entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen
- Self starter with the capacity to develop both personally & professionally
