SalaryJob: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Location: Leeds/Bradford
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 OTE £40k+
The role will consist of working with a variation of Forklift trucks with some of the most prestigious and leading brands on the market. They are seeking an Engineer from ideally an FLT or Plant background who preferably has experience working in the field.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, work well under pressure, and be self-driven and motivated in regards to their workload.
Forklift engineers job profile:
- To carry out routine maintenance and repairs to MHE equipment
- Ensuring the best practice with quality professionalism to maintain customer satisfaction
- Report to the Service Manager and to raise any chargeable repairs that may be required in which they can carry out estimates and quotes
- Managing daily workload in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensuring all stock levels are maintained and submission details for parts etc. are sent over to the Service Manager
- A high level of communication skills to both customers and the service department
- Following Health and Safety and ensuring that all work carried out is followed within the H&S guidelines
Forklift engineer requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in relevant Engineering and/or a minimum of 3 years as a Field Service Engineer in the FLT industry
- Will consider Engineers from a Plant, HGV, Agricultural or Automotive background
- Will consider ex forces if they have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Mechanic
- Good communication skills with a customer focused approach
- Highly organised, punctual with flexible time management
