Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the nursery teacher in designing and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities tailored for children aged 3-4 years.
- Actively participate in play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors, to support children learning experiences.
- Cultivate positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Propel children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through meaningful interactions and purposeful activities.
- Assist in the daily routines of the nursery, managing meal times, toileting, and nap periods while ensuring the health and safety of all children.
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for working with young children and aiding in their holistic development.
- Preferred experience in an early years setting, though not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
- Possession of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach to working with young children.
