Fp&A Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant focusing on FP&A to join our client based in Stoke. The primary responsibility of this role is to meticulously prepare management accounts and offer insightful commentary for review by the senior management team. This will allow you to add value and make improvements from day one. Salary up to 50k

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Management and Statutory Accounts:
• Prepare management accounts and record all accounting entries.
• Collate information from various internal and external systems.
• Complete variance analysis and commentary between actuals and budget
• Assist in the audit process and annual audit preparation.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and address any issues.
• Analysis of Financial Reports and contribute to the annual budget setting process
• Generate reports on financial spend against forecasts.
• Distribute reports to senior staff and managers, accompanied by supporting commentary.
• Assist in creating board report commentaries.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ideally a degree in Accounting or Finance however not essential
• ACA, ACCA OR CIMA qualified
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
