THE COMPANY
This is an exciting opportunity with a leading UK FinTech that focus on harnessing data to enhance their lending decisions. This business have been growing in recent years and are now in an excellent position. This role would see you build out their fraud team, offering the unique opportunity to develop from almost a blank slate.
THE ROLE
- Analyse transactional data and patterns to identify and mitigate potential fraudulent activities.
- Develop and enhance fraud detection rules and policies to stay ahead of evolving threats.
- Collaborate with the credit risk team to implement fraud prevention strategies.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing fraud prevention measures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Lead investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key fraud metrics to enhance fraud prevention efforts.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a consumer lending background is essential
- Experience in developing fraud strategies, rules and policies
- Wider commercial acumen and close stakeholder experience
- STEM degree from a Russell Group University
