French Speaking Accountant

IN2Consult / French Speaking Accountant / up to £45,000 pa / Mayfair / 1 day remote per week / Travel required

IN2Consult are working with a prestigious London based hospitality company who are looking for a French speaking candidate to join their team. This opportunity can offer up to £45,000 pa, 1 day of remote working per week & excellent progression. This opportunity also features monthly trips to multiple European locations for work. To be successful, you will need to speak & write French fluently, have experience in a similar position & be part qualified. Please see below the responsibilities & skills -

Responsibilities -

• Recording payments received
• Preparing and executing weekly payments
• Processing expenses
• Point of contact for suppliers and other stakeholders (in English and French)
• Raising sales invoices and recording purchases invoices
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register for both French entities.
• Recording group intercompany cost recharges and intercompany reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly reporting
• Reporting on projects expenditure and forecasts
• Provide cross-functional support to team members as needed
• Maintaining accurate filing systems
• Responsible for the adhering to the period end close calendar timelines
• Support ad hoc projects as required

Skills -

• Fluent French
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Excellent ability to communicate
• Strong MS excel skills 
• ACCA or CIMA part qualified
