THE FRONT- END SOFTWARE ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:
- Full lifecycle involvement in software development, including design, testing, and deployment on AWS.
- Seeking a candidate with strong Agile and DevOps commitment for team collaboration.
- Crafting clean, maintainable features and problem-solving for optimal outcomes.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs, adhere to quality standards, and follow engineering practices.
- Contributing to technical debt management for system security and reliability.
- Defining test strategies emphasising security and user experience.
- Conducting thorough code reviews for high-quality software.
- Advocating for team effectiveness and process improvements.
- Fostering collaboration and mentoring junior engineers.
- Researching new technologies and sharing insights within the developer community.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- Experienced in crafting modern single-page web and native applications using JavaScript frameworks like React and React Native.
- Proficient in fundamental web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Skilled in web application design principles and state management. Collaborates on design systems and component libraries.
- Prioritises customer satisfaction and user experience. Deep understanding of mobile app architecture (MVP, MVVM, Flux). Applies clean code and architecture principles like SOLID and Onion.
- Familiar with GraphQL, AWS Cloud Services, and Docker. Hands-on experience with native Android/iOS app development. Knowledgeable about HTTP, TLS, and interacting with RESTful web services.
- Experienced in testing methodologies and Agile practices. Proficient in Git, CMS, CDN, and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
- Skilled in debugging and resolving complex issues. Actively participates in code reviews and communicates effectively with diverse teams. Desirable familiarity with PHP.
