Background
Join The Hub at this exciting time in our history. Having been open for 5 years, we’ve established ourselves as a well-used community venue but we don’t want to stop there! We’ve big plans to grow our business into the future and this role plays a key part in that.
Café at The Hub started as a small, community café with just 28 covers and we now have seating for 85 inside and up to 60 covers outside. We offer good value, consistently high-quality food that mean customers return to us again and again.
We are looking for a full time, genuinely enthusiastic, friendly Front of House Assistant to work as part of our Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer experiences to customers and visitors across a wide range of activities including the café and events.
The Hub is place for people to come together to have fun, work and try new things. We’re a beacon for the local community, drawing new and long-standing residents together. Our beautiful spaces and rooms are available for hire. Our flexible spaces can accommodate two to 150 people and are suitable for a range of activities. Café at The Hub can also provide the catering for any events being held in the building, from meetings to parties, weddings and events.
The Hub is based within a distinctive, contemporary development of 700 high quality homes, community facilities and open spaces. Offering the perfect blend of city and country living, Mulberry Park is within easy reach of both Bath's dynamic city centre and the area's stunning natural surroundings. This vibrant community will be enhanced by Bath's first new park for 100 years, a new primary school and a children's nursery.
The Hub is part of Curo, and we are about providing people with homes and much more. We are one of the largest landlords in the South West and ranked in the top 50 of The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for in the whole of the UK. We care about our colleagues and this is evident in their sense of pride and the tireless work they do to support our customers.
