Our chauffeurs act as concierges on the road for clients providing a safe, punctual, helpful, secure and informed experience; they keep our vehicles clean and sanitised; and they are part of a large supportive team of fellow chauffeurs, reservations/sales staff, and senior leadership working together to offer the best customer service in the market.

The work is exciting and varied and involves driving our luxurious fleet of vehicles on some of the largest, high-profile events to come to the country, looking after business, leisure and corporate clients and showing them the absolute best of Scotland; whatever it is, we always supply the same five star service to all of our clients.

ARE YOU THE PERSON WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

We need people who are able to demonstrate first class driving skills, who have a history of excellence in customer service that our clients expect, and who can show a willingness to improve their skills and knowledge. You may have experience as a chauffeur, in professional driving or the hospitality industry; you may have spent time in public service or you may just be looking to change direction but whatever your background, you must have the right attitude, a desire to learn new skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. An ability to speak another language as well as English is always welcome and driving qualifications from a previous profession or from ROSPA or IAM are advantageous. Full training is provided but you absolutely must bring flexibility and positivity.

At Little’s we operate a 24-hour, 7 day a week business; our lights are always on, so working hours can be any time of the day or night. We are recruiting Full Time Chauffeurs in Edinburgh. This is a permanent position based on an average 42.5 hour week on a variable rota averaging five days worked over seven. Due to the nature of chauffeur drive work overtime working is a requirement, sometimes on a daily basis.

It is anticipated that successful candidates will be involved in the full spectrum of work as a chauffeur however it would be advantageous if you were also able to conduct sightseeing tours with clients over consecutive days. This would also involve staying away from home overnight. To fulfil this role you will already have an expertise of Scotland’s road network and proven planning skills; you will have a good knowledge of our history, geography and the locations that will quite simply take a visitor’s breath away; you will know the best places to stop for food and drink; and you must be able to converse with your clients in an entertaining and informative manner. OUR PROMISE

Highly Competitive Salary, Paid Holidays and Bonus – our salary is £26,520.00 per annum, overtime is paid at £12.50 per hour; with 28 days holiday per year. You will also receive a performance related bonus of £50.00 per month on the condition that you adhere to company standards and have no accidents. In the event of performance standards not being met or an accident occurring this may be withdrawn.
