Fundraising Coordinator
Are you looking to get into fundraising? Are you an organised and proactive people person? An exciting opportunity has arisen at Prospect Hospice for a Fundraising Coordinator to support the community and events fundraising team.
Our fundraising team raises vital income to enable us to care for people with life limiting illnesses in our community. Whether through events, activities or platforms to promote the Hospice out in the community, we are passionate about providing an excellent supporter experience. We are looking for a new team member to join us to help us achieve our goals and support our fundraising activities.
Hours: 28 to 37.5 hours per week (with flexibility required on occasion to support events and activities outside regular working hours)
What is the role?
The Fundraising Coordinator will be part of the events and community team providing support for fundraising campaigns, events and in aid of fundraising. You will also be responsible for the administration of accurate supporter records and bookings, responding to enquiries and cultivating relationships, and ongoing stewardship with our supporters and volunteers.
A people person will excellent communication skills, highly organised and methodical, you will have excellent attention to detail, be flexible and able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks. Good digital skills including MSOffice (Excel and Word) are essential and the ability to understand information presented in databases/donor software systems would be a bonus.
