Hours: 8am- 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 8am -1pm Fri.
Our Engineering Client based in the Burton on Trent area is recruiting for a Sales Coordinator on a contract basis up to Xmas.
Key Duties & Tasks:
- Liaising with a customer portfolio
- Responding to customers' Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and enquiries
- Processing customers' contracts, orders and schedules
- Managing customers order books Leading or participating in customers' reviews
- Managing customers' concerns (eg Rejections and Non-Conformance Reports)
- Liaising with other departments within the company to meet customer's requirements
- Assisting with weekly/monthly order intake and sales forecasting
- Supporting the Customer Service Manager whenever relevant
- Liaise with other departments and colleagues across the UK in order to meet individual and team objectives
- Ensure all company procurement procedures are followed
- Take the lead on the Purchasing section of the company Management System and Internal Control to ensure quarterly targets are met
- To carry out any other reasonable duty or task as required in pursuit of company goals and objectives
Background & Experience:
* Previous customer service and administrative experience
* Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good experience of MS applications (Excel & Word)
* Problem solver and resilient
* The ability to work without supervision
