Job Purpose: As a Sales Coordinator, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth for our Lightning Protection Testing & Inspection division. Your role involves proactively responding to direct inquiries, preparing repair and upgrade quotations, and following up to maximize sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair Sales: Prepare and follow up on quotations generated from engineer worksheets, direct client inquiries, and referrals to drive sales.
- Sales Reporting: Provide weekly sales reports to the Sales Director, detailing activities and new business secured.
- Customer Education: Inform and educate clients on safety compliance requirements within the lightning protection sector.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and timely client records.
- Sales Administration: Handle related administrative tasks, including quotations and correspondence.
Key Challenges: You will be working in a highly competitive space where building strong client relationships is crucial. With a team consisting of two Business Development Managers and six Sales Coordinators, your focus will be on existing clients' repair and upgrade needs.
Role Dimensions:
- Individual contributor with no direct reports.
- Inside sales role with targets and incentives to drive growth.
Person Profile:
- Proven telesales experience, including generating and following up on quotations.
- Ability to work independently and meet individual sales targets.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and professional.
- Strong relationship-building skills and commercial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with effective database and planning tool usage.
- Strong IT skills, especially in Excel.
