Location: Brighton (Hybrid)

About The Role

Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove is seeking an experienced and dedicated Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, utilising diverse fundraising sources to generate income in support of our mission. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people in our community while shaping the future direction of our fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
• Build sustainable relationships with funders, donors, and stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising campaigns and high-value bids to secure vital funding.
• Manage grant applications and donor stewardship processes.
• Identify and cultivate corporate partnerships and community fundraising opportunities.
• Oversee individual giving and legacy programmes, ensuring effective donor engagement and retention.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fundraising management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of fundraising regulations, best practices, and trends.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to working.
• Passion for the mission of Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and a commitment to supporting older people in our community.
