Relate West Sussex is looking for a Fundraising and Marketing Manager to join its small, supportive team based in Crawley, West Sussex. This outward-facing role will be responsible for meeting the organisation’s fundraising targets and developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of funders including statutory partners, trusts and foundations. A big proportion of our funds are generated by our Crawley-based Charity Shop, and the Fundraising and Marketing Manager will be responsible for the line management and support of our Charity Shop Manager. The successful applicant will develop and oversee a marketing strategy which includes our website, social media, press releases and regular communication with stakeholders.
We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of successful income generation in the charitable sector, experience of writing funding bids, and a flare for marketing and promotion, particularly across online channels. Strong IT skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across the private, public and charity sectors. The successful applicant must be reliable and self-motivated, a team-player, and committed to the vision and values of Relate.
This role is part-time, 21 hours per week, with some flexibility around the division of hours to be discussed with the successful candidate. You would be part home-based and part Crawley-based.
