This is an exciting opportunity within the Commodities and Global Markets team who have operated in the global futures markets for more than 30 years. The team provides a full range of execution, clearing and financing solutions to corporate and institutional clients as well as providing continuous 24-hour coverage of all major markets globally, supporting and developing a broad range of business and Financial Management functions.

What role will you play?
You will join the Regulatory and Financial Management team, within the Futures Chief Operating Office team, and will work with key stakeholders of the business regionally and globally to support the daily functions for Futures. Initially the focus of this role will be Regulatory reporting support but expect that the scope of the role will broaden in time to include aspects of the Financial Management roles within the team to provide all round coverage for the team.
You will be responsible for managing the daily oversight of Regulatory reporting for the Futures business – Markets in Financial Instruments Directive Transaction Reporting (MIFID TR), European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT). You will be working with internal Operations teams to implement effective control framework to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting, as well as day to day management of queries arising from reporting – assisting to resolve unreported trades and prevention of reoccurring issues with effective remediation of upstream static data. Part of your role will be to identify process improvements to improve static data accuracy of Futures data used for Regulatory reporting, and working with stakeholders to prioritise and implement changes and control design.
Another aspect to the role will include incident and breach reporting, analysis of incident and breached to identify root causes implementing necessary control improvements and tracking actions, liaising with internal Compliance and Risk Management teams.
