General Assistant For Print Finishing, Screen Printng & Embroidery

Lazarprint is a dynamic and rapidly growing printing and design studio specializing in providing high-quality print, embroidery and screen printing services. We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team at Lazarprint. The ideal candidate will be passionate about print finishing, embroidery, and screen printing processes and eager to contribute to a fast-paced creative environment. This role will involve supporting various tasks within our production process and assisting in ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Print Finishing Support:

• Assist in trimming, binding and other finishing tasks to ensure the quality and presentation of printed materials.
• Operate cutting, folding, and binding equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the finishing area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.

• Embroidery Assistance:

• Aid in setting up and operating embroidery machines for the creation of custom designs on garments and textiles.
• Prepare materials, threads, and designs for embroidery projects according to specifications.
• Assist in quality control by inspecting finished embroidery work for accuracy and consistency.

• Screen Print Support:

• Support the screen printing process by assisting in the preparation of screens, inks, and substrates.
• Help with screen setup, registration, and cleaning to ensure smooth and accurate printing runs.
• Monitor print quality and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during the printing process.

• General Tasks:

• Assist with various tasks across different departments as needed, including but not limited to inventory management, packaging, and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in print finishing, embroidery, or screen printing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects when necessary.

This role is offering a full time role depending on the performance of the candidiate.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £9.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
