General Catering Assistant - Mat Cover

You are the face of the Catering Service operation as a General Catering Assistant - Mat Cover at Sodexo in Trinity Catholic High School Lower - Woodford Green.  This position involves making sure that all work areas are kept clean and organised at all times as well as preparing and serving our various menus. Your positive attitude and exceptional customer service abilities will make you an indispensable part of everyone's daily life.

What you’ll do:

Assist with steamtable and counter setup and serving of hot and/or cold food
Sanitise and clean workstations and equipment.
Calculate the amount of food required by reading recipes and/or directions for the product.
At the conclusion of meal times, serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables and dismantle stations.
Engage with students in the dining, retail, and serving areas

What you bring:

Professionalism, empathy, and a positive outlook on life
Basic food handling skills are preferred, however not essential.
Ability to spend up to eight hours a day working while standing
There is no requirement for prior work experience.
