Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented General Ledger Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of our General Ledger, and supporting various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Analyzefinancial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle,365).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
