This role requires a confident, motivated, and business-minded individual who is also a strong communicator and team player.Key Responsibilities (not an exhaustive list):* To oversee performance of all departments* To oversee the organisation's financial performance and manage monthly reporting to head office* To develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers, including pursuing business growth and negotiating deals* To develop a robust overall operations analysis framework* Coordination of engineers, forward thinking with training, holiday cover etc.* Monitor and control all legal and statutory requirements in line with industry HSE and also HMRC/other bodies.* To act as direct line manager for all staff (currently 5 people at the yard)* Manage company's ISO 9001 status by implementing new processes* To follow incident reporting protocol and deliver lessons learned overview* To continuously work in line with 5 year business model to achieve target revenues and goals.* Assist with enquiries out of hours where required* Assist in the preparation of quotations as requiredKey Requirements* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Proactive leadership skills* Strategic thinking* Ability to implement change and drive business forward* Ability to manage overall performance and implement KPI's and business objectives within the organisation* Confidence to take ownership of all operational matters* Ability to build rapport and long lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders* Natural sales acumen, strong negotiation skillsPlease note: you may be required to carry out additional tasks in the event of holiday cover or busy periods to meet the needs of the business, including out of ours/weekends
