We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to join our dynamic team in Telford.

Do you have the following?
- CMI Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent (ideally)
- BSc(Hons), HND in Mechanical Engineering with management training or equivalent
- Proven work experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a time-driven, customer-focused environment with lean manufacturing expertise
- Familiarity with budgetary and performance-targeted workplaces, including P&L management experience
- Successful record in improving workforce culture, behaviours, and safety standards
Responsibilities:
- Drive EBIDT growth, improve sales revenue, and profitability
- Implement CAPEX projects on time and within budget
- Develop and implement a TPM maintenance strategy
- Lead Health & Safety and operational excellence, ensuring compliance with procedures
- Develop an effective People strategy for colleague development and succession planning
- Direct accountability and budgetary control for the site
- Act as a role model for a cultural shift, promoting with a people-centric focus
- Lead and manage the site Leadership Team, including Customer Service, Sales, Transport, Production, and Maintenance
- Develop the site strategy to enhance business within the marketplace and identify areas for growth
- Identify and implement initiatives for continuous improvement in methodology, quality, effectiveness, and consistency
- Utilise KPIs to actively manage performance and productivity
- Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, environmental, and Group Corporate Governance requirements
- Attend management meetings and prepare monthly reports

- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams
- Experience with lean processes (Kanban, Keizan, Lean Six Sigma)
- Strong collaborative leadership skills
- Experience in implementing continuous process improvement
