This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with gravitas and a background in the creative sector to make a significant impact in the community. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge, connections, and experience within areas such as audio, film-making, or gaming, with a keen ambition to drive growth and innovation.
Day to day responsibilities:
·Lead the overall strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
·Develop and implement Business Development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our reach within the creative sector.
·Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, educational institutions, and industry professionals.
·Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to enhance our programs and offerings.
·Provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of employees and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
·Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and adaptation.
·Represent the organisation at external events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Requirements:
·Strong Business Development skills, with a track record of driving revenue growth and fostering partnerships.
·Knowledge and experience in areas such as audio, film-making, or gaming are highly desirable.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Strategic thinker.
·Demonstrated passion for community empowerment and social impact.
·Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
