Job Description:
Now they seek a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead their company and drive growth through diversification. The General Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, managing day-to-day operations, and planning and executing strategies for business expansion. This individual will take over the reins from the current Managing Director and Financial Director, ensuring continuity and further success for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to the company.
- Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Developing and implementing growth strategies, including diversification into new markets or services.
- Taking ownership of profit and loss responsibility, driving financial performance and profitability.
- Leading and motivating a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Overseeing all business functions, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Identifying and addressing challenges or issues within the company, and implementing effective solutions.
- Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior management role, preferably as a General Manager or similar.
- Proven track record of successfully leading a company or business unit to achieve growth and profitability.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability for business performance.
- A background in Digital Print and communications industry would be useful but is not essential
- The ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Must be hands-on when necessary and delivery-focused.
