What you’ll be doing as a General Manager:
- Getting the best out of your team and inspiring them to develop their own careers
- Growing the business, driving sales, and making connections with the local community
- Coaching and mentoring team members and managers
- Taking responsibility for sales, marketing, profit, and customer experience targets
- Day to day administration such as sales planning, scheduling, ordering, cellar management, and stock control
- Running shifts, ensuring a positive experience for all guests, customers, and team members
- Proactively managing and promoting events.
- Ensuring product and service standards
- Resolving customer and staff questions, queries, and issues
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards and ensuring all alcohol licensing requirements are observed
