Excellent opportunity for someone from an operations management or business management background within Manufacturing or Production to join finically strong, growing company in a highly varied and challenging role where you can stamp your mark on the site and business.
This company are experts within the field of hydraulics. Through growth and a new ownership group finically backing the site, they are looking for a forward-thinking General Manager to take charge and lead improvements and growth to the facility.
In this role you will lead a busy production & assembly facility, while having about twenty direct reports. You will have full responsibility for Profit & Loss and be spearheading all commercial and operational growth initiatives. The site is currently outdated, and part of your role will be to lead all improvements in line with the business goals.
The ideal candidate will be a business leader from an operations background within Manufacturing or Production environments. Any experience within hydraulics or assembly is beneficial but not a necessity. Previous experience having full P&L responsibility and delivering business change and continuous improvements is highly beneficial.

The role:
*Full P&L responsibility for the site
*Leading all commercial and operational growth initiatives
*Leading a team of twenty and managers
*Leading operational excellence, strategic leadership, financial management, Quality & Safety
The person:
*Senior management experience within a production, engineering, or manufacturing environment
*Experience of implementing operational process efficiencies across logistics, assembly, and production
*Financially competent and experience managing annual budgets, forecasting & with cost reduction models
*Experience managing suppliers, with procurement and inventory management
*Experience in driving process improvement initiatives and with continuous improvements
