General Manager, Sadler's Wells East

Permanent, full-time position

Salary £50,000 per annum, plus benefits
Sadler's Wells is looking for a General Manager for our new venue, Sadler's Wells East.

This will open in East Bank, a new cultural and education district in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Sadler's Wells East will be a creative and cultural hub for dance, housing a 550-midscale performance space, as well as the Rose Choreographic School and Academy Breakin' Convention.
This is a new on-site role, where a large responsibility in the first year will be preparing the new venue for operational readiness. Once open, you will be the key contact for the new venue in terms of its operations, overseeing the management of our people and logistics - including performances, events, projects and theatre administration and facilities. You will also play a key role in establishing a welcoming culture for students and the local community.
You will be a supportive and strategic leader who aligns with our values and be able to effectively manage multiple complex projects to completion. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge in managing a multipurpose venue and expand your experience of operating a public building.
