General Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group currently working with a reputable manufacturer which operates within automotive assembly in the recruitment of a Site General Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity and one which will support the direction and growth of the site and its people within. I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the sites manufacturing and assembly operations. You be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leadership in the manufacturing sector, possessing strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving operational efficiency and growth.
This role will play a key role in providing strategic direction and leadership to the manufacturing team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
This General Manager will be responsible for:

• Oversee all aspects of manufacturing & assembly operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and resource management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow, resolve issues, and drive innovation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence among manufacturing staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
