**General Manager/Chief of Staff, Kensington, £80-100K gpa doe**
We are looking for a very experienced Chief of Staff with strong technical and staff management skills to work at an UHNW fully staffed property in Kensington. You must be experienced managing a large team of Staff in a very fast paced environment where things can change at a drop of a hat whilst always maintaining the highest possible standards. Utmost discretion and professionalism is required at all times for this position. The role will be 5 days a week with 2 days off.
Duties to include but not limited to:
-Management of household staff to ensure a smooth-running operation (eg working rota, timesheets, holiday planning, staff issues handling)
-Setting the culture and ensuring the team works smoothly and efficiently to cover all areas.
-Managing workstreams and priorities to ensure the Principal’s needs are met.
-Liaison with professional teams eg. accountants, tax advisors, lawyers, and other consultants
-Property/asset management; managing major acquisitions, liaising with contractors/agents, assisting with purchase processes
-Scheduling and supervising household maintenance and repairs with contractors and service providers, checking works are carried out correctly
-Overseeing refurbishment and construction works
-Ongoing improvement of administrative processes
-Administrative tasks such as household budget & cash flow management
-Managing all staff and staff resources; and providing internal feedback when needed
-Oversight of household purchases procedure
-Maintain up-to-date inventories of wine, spare equipment, household items, warranties etc
-HR admin, recruitment, onboarding of new staff
Requirements:
-5+ years’ experience in a senior management position
- Longevity in previous roles
-Ideally experience in both hospitality and private household settings
-Must have excellent written and spoken English
-Tech and IT savvy
-Superlative communication skills
-Hands on, muck in attitude
-Excellent checkable references
-Diplomatic, professional and committed
Salary: £80 - 100k gpa doe
Days: Monday to Friday (5 days a week, days may be varied); 2 days off a week guaranteed.
Start date: ASAP but will consider candidates with notice periods
