Generalist operational HR Advisor (full time role)

THE ROLE:
My client is seeking an HR Advisor to work in a small, experienced site HR team. This role offers a full operational HR generalist position working across all things HR and with excellent Union exposure.
Working for this well-known branded business you will deliver a comprehensive and "proactive" HR service to a busy operational site with some occasional travel to other northern sites.
The role covers full operational HR generalist support for the site working with the operational leadership and management teams providing guidance and support on all People and ER related matters dealing with Unions, absence management, Health & Wellbeing, managing all investigations, disciplinaries, the full application of T C's etc.
Resourcing - assisting management with recruitment and the entire employment lifecycle. Involvement in talent attraction, recruitment, selection, onboarding, liaising with HR admin and payroll, reports/data for payroll.
HR policy and procedures, providing advice and support to all staff, Managers and Union reps
Supporting appraisal process, recognition, and reward programmes etc
L D - supporting training and other learning activities on site to rate employee and Line Manager capability.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal HR candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working in a Generalist operational HR role ideally in logistics, distribution, manufacturing working with (blue/white collar worker). Exposure to a unionised environment would be an advantage.

Strong ER background is essential.
