What it’s like working in our team…
In our Digital Change & Service Improvement team at Bracknell Forest, you will be working alongside developers, business analysts and content writers. We’re a team where GIS expertise, data governance and analytics intersect with creativity and strategic thinking. As we architect and manage robust GIS systems, balance varied responsibilities, and develop insightful data visualisations, our collaborative environment encourages innovation and supports data-driven decision-making for meaningful digital transformation and service improvements.
You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training…
- Architect and maintain a robust Geographic Information System (GIS) in line with statutory, ICT, and Data management standards.
- Serve as the authoritative figure for GIS data governance, managing all aspects of internal and external GIS-related system integrations.
- Balance GIS management with contributing to the data requirements of digital change and service improvement projects within the organisation.
- Develop, deploy, and manage Power BI dashboards and other data visualisation tools to aid in data-driven decision making for digital transformation and service enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure accessibility and integrity of data across various platforms, facilitating reliable data availability for strategic analysis and championing data analytics to provide actionable insights for evidence-based digital service improvements.
