We are seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join a dynamic team at a well–respected mainstream secondary school in the Ashford area. As a Geography Teacher, you will have the chance to shape the future of our students and contribute to their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement. Adapt teaching methods to cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. Inspire a love for Geography and promote a deeper understanding of the subject. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support for improvement. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources. Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and educational programs. Qualifications and Skills:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject matter. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Dedication to student success and the ability to inspire and motivate. Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
