SALARY: Up to £29,000 DOE
LOCATION: Fleckney, Leicester (Hybrid - 1 day per week from home)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a global manufacturer whoare looking to expand their finance team and recruit a German-speaking Accounts Assistant.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will ideally have a background in credit control and purchase ledger, however full training will be given.
A strong telephone manner and Excel skills are a must in order to be successful in this role.
The successful individual will be fluent in the German language, due to the need to liaise with customers, suppliers and employees at the Germany branch.
DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Processing both high-value and high-volume invoices (up to 500 per month).
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Liaising with various internal departments to close, resolve and raise POs.
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email.
- Ensuring customers pay on time and in full, in order to achieve target.
- Managing Debtor letters in accordance with the credit policy.
- Blocking and unblocking customers’ accounts, as required.
- Issuing monthly statements and invoices.
- Ensuring all customer communication is logged correctly.
- Monitoring customers’ credit limits.
- Updating cash booked on a daily basis.
