Global Learning Specialist | London

Role purpose
As the Global Learning Specialist, based in London, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategic learning initiatives for Aesop’s global workforce. You will maintain and coordinate the underpinning practices and learning systems across our organization, enabling employees to successfully develop themselves and their careers. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering programs that align with Aesop’s values, business goals, and the professional development needs of our employees. Working closely alongside the Learning Manager and Talent team, you will establish and maintain Aesop as a true learning organization.
Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –
Learning Design and Delivery:
· Develop engaging and impactful learning materials, courses, and workshops tailored to the needs of Aesop’s teams.
· Utilise various learning methodologies, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training, to cater to diverse learning preferences.
· Work with the Learning Manager and DE&I Manager to support education and embedding of our DEI strategy across the organisation.
· Liaising with our colleagues within L’Oréal Luxe to leverage and deploy relevant content.
Technology Optimisation:
· Explore and implement innovative technologies to enhance learning experiences, including e-learning platforms, virtual classrooms, and other digital tools relevant to the London and global workforce.
· Maintaining content, campaigns and courses on our internal learning systems, Workday Learning and LinkedIn Learning.
Local and Global Coordination:
· Work closely with global and regional stakeholders to ensure consistency in learning initiatives.
· Facilitate coordination between different regions to promote a cohesive organisational learning culture.
· Leading communication and coordination between Aesop and external providers like LinkedIn Learning and CoachHub.
Performance Evaluation:
· Consistently measure the effectiveness of learning programs globally.
· Regularly assess and refine initiatives based on feedback and outcomes.
· Maintenance of learning data on Workday.
Communication:
· Drive internal learning communications to encourage and facilitate personal ownership for career development, sharing supportive content contributing to the quality and impact of career development conversations.
· Support relationships with external learning providers in connection with the delivery of Aesop’s learning objectives.
This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern, based in Aesop’s London Bridge office.
What we are looking for

· Proven experience in, or exposure to, designing and delivering learning and development programs, preferably within a global context.
· Understanding of adult learning principles and modern instructional design methodologies.
· Excellent project management and organizational skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, globally.
· Experience with analysing data to find themes and trends to inform decision making.
· Understanding of digital learning creation tools would be desirable.
