Job Introduction

We are very excited to be recruiting for a new position as a Learning and Development Specialist to join the award-winning Rapport Learning and Development Team. As the subject matter expert, you will be instrumental in inspiring ambassadors to achieve exceptional guest experiences through the delivery of workshops, training, and engagement sessions.

 

The successful candidate will hold the job title of a Guest Experience Trainer, and will be reporting to the Head of L&D.

You will join an energetic, driven, and fun team, and will work alongside the Digital Learning Manager, Events & Project Coordinator, L&D Business Partners, and Senior L&D Manager.

 

This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week), working Monday to Friday in a brand-new office, located near Holborn. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit and work from some of the most amazing and innovative client offices in the UK, part of Rapport’s continuously growing portfolio.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering workshops, training, and engagement sessions with the aim to inspire ambassadors to provide memorable guest experiences
  • Enhancing the guest journey at all relevant touch points as well as reviewing feedback to ensure we are meeting our guests, customers, and client’s needs
  • Delivering Rapport training workshops, both virtual live and face to face to our operational teams, to the standards required
  • Evaluating training effectiveness through gaining feedback, data analysis, and reporting insights with the wider L&D team to enhance training interventions for optimal business results
  • Supporting with the development of new and innovative training courses and learning interventions
  • Supporting the delivery of key L&D projects that underpin the L&D strategy
  • Supporting the wider L&D team with queries and admin

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in designing and elevating training and Development for operational teams in a fast paced, agile, premium customer centric environment
  • Be able to conduct engaging and informative training sessions to a diverse range of people, using various instructional techniques and technology platforms, to account for different learning styles and business needs
  • Be an articulate communicator who demonstrates the ability to connect with and inspire others, adapting their communication style to the person or audience
  • Be willing to travel to locations across the UK, Ireland and internationally
  • Be a self-starter with ability to work autonomously on projects, as well as collaboratively with the wider L&D team
  • Demonstrate ability in building strong relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating a flexible and collaborative approach towards clients, peers, and managers
  • Demonstrate an inquisitive and progressive approach to understanding business needs, and to be in tune with industry trends and best practices in how learning can enhance service and standards
  • Ideally, have at least 1 year of experience in Learning and Development
